In case of an accident, it is advised that you do the following:
- Obtain the name, address, and telephone number of each driver, passenger, and witness.
- Obtain name and policy number of the insurance company for each vehicle involved in the accident.
- Do not admit fault or assume responsibility for the accident.
- Do not discuss the details of the accident with anyone other than a police officer.
- Obtain the number of the police report, and the name and badge number of the officer who investigated the accident.
